Mike is a nationally recognized Solutions Specialist Certified in Long Term Care. His mission is to educate and protect families from the potentially devastating consequences associated with extended care.

Based on eye-opening personal experience, Mike has seen the physical, emotional and financial impact placed on the family when his mom and dad, residing several states away, needed help with in-home care which overtime progressed to even more costly facility care.

Mike recognizes that part of living a long life makes advance planning essential. He uses a straightforward approach to identify the pertinent issues facing families and, without pressure or obligation, creates affordable needs-based solutions to help preserve their hard-earned assets and independence.

Active in the community, Mike participates in fund raising for the Alzheimer’s Association and Annual “Memory Walk.” He regularly conducts group talks on the topic of long-term health care planning to local civic groups and businesses as part of his ongoing outreach to increase awareness.

Founder of Standley Associates LLC and a Founding Member of FPS Insurance Agency LLC, he has been providing professional health care planning expertise since 1996. Mike has been interviewed numerous times by Dr. Derrick De Silva on the, “Ask the Doctor” radio show, and has appeared regularly in The New York Times, “To Your Health” section.

Raised and educated in Southern California, Mike now resides with his wife Linda, at the Jersey shore. For fun, they enjoy exercise, the beach, walking the boardwalk, the theatre and visiting family and friends.
